When she first went pro three years ago, she played at local Vancouver casinos, but her ambition and talent swiftly outgrew Canada’s west coast, prompting her to travel the world looking for tougher competition and bigger games.

“Miami” John Cernuto was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. He attended Florida State University, where he graduated with a degree in finance, and after college went on to become an air traffic controller. Armed with a college degree and a good job, he seemed to be set up on a safe career path. However, he was fired by President Ronald Reagan in 1981 along with 11,000 other striking air traffic controllers.  Erik Cajelais started out playing poker with his older brother and a few friends “just for fun”. As it turned out, he was pretty good. Having developed a passion for the game, he dedicated himself to honing his poker skills and on becoming a pro. Apparently, this tactic worked. Since officially coming onto the professional poker scene in 2005, Erik’s amassed an impressive list of tournament finishes.

For his pro debut, Erik made it to the final table at the WPT Borgata Poker Open’s $1,000 No-Limit Hold ‘em Championship. He finished eighth and took home over $11K. Although Richard played kitchen-table poker with Bill Gates and his other friends from Microsoft back in the day, he never took the game seriously until the summer of 2003 when he saw his friend Andy Bloch make two World Poker Tour (WPT) final tables on TV. Richard immediately started playing $10-$30 tournaments online, carefully tracking his results, until he was convinced he knew enough to be a winning player and had the stats to prove it.

 With five weeks of poker experience and 123 online tournaments under his belt, Richard started playing live. In his third outing, Richard finished second in the $1,000 No-Limit Hold ‘em event at the Festa al Lago, knocking out world champion Scotty Nguyen in the process. Richard was hooked! Steve started playing poker in 1966 at the Cameo Club in Palo Alto, California. His game was No-Limit Ace-to-Five Lowball with a Joker in the deck. Steve began studying poker in 1993 as he planned his retirement from the computer software industry. He tried Texas Hold ‘em for the first time, and played local tournaments and Limit Hold ‘em games. In the mid-1990s, he played his first major live tournament.

 Steve has cashed in nine World Poker Tour (WPT) and three World Series of Poker (WSOP) events. He achieved his first notable finish in 1999, placing 8th in the WSOP $2.5K No-Limit Hold ‘em event for $15K. In 2004 he reached the final table of the WPT $25K No Limit Championship, finishing 6th and banking more than $232K. Originally from Dayton, Ohio, David started playing poker in various home games around Ohio and Kentucky. In fact, one of the home games he played in was run by the parents of his friend and fellow Full Tilt Poker  pro, Keith Sexton. David and Keith would later start a successful custom home building business in Las Vegas, which David still runs today.

 David tried a variety of jobs early in life, including teaching and the insulation business, but in the end poker was always the most profitable career. In 1988, David travelled to Las Vegas and placed second and third in the first local tournaments he played. Spurred on by his success, David went back to Ohio only to pick up his clothes and truck, and made the move permanent. Alan claims not to be well known nationwide, but pros definitely know him for two reasons: Alan’s 7-Card Stud game and the fact that he’s a tough out in any tournament. Alan has played in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) for more than 10 years and has many top 20 finishes. His best result is a second-place finish in the $2,500 7-Card Stud tourney. In addition, he has two third-place finishes and one fourth place in 7-Card Stud.

 2002 was a good year for Alan at the WSOP. That was the year he took home one of those thirds, as well as a fifth-place finish in the Half Stud/Half Hold ‘em tournament, and he made two final tables in Limit Omaha and Omaha 8 or Better.
