My goal is to one day (hopefully by next year) be able to make as much money if not more from live games as oppossed to playing online, Don’t get me wrong – I love online play but with everything that has transpired in the last year it’s just a good idea to not rely so heavily on online poker. My choices are basicly playing low limit $4-$8 – $6-$12 at a nearby poker room or driving over an hour to Casino Arizona where the games are as high as $100 -$200 but the competition is pretty good. So my goal has been to get more players in our little poker room and increase the stakes there. I would love to have a regular $20 -$40 mix game but it’s been quite hard getting the players.
Sometimes I wish I had decided to move to Las Vegas full time where the games are juicy at just about any level you want 24/7 but my family is just to grounded here in the valley and my boys truly love their school and classmates. Traveling has got to be very frustrating as well – or maybe Im just getting lazy?? side effect of online poker – “expect easy money with little effort” so sick!
Im playing live about 5 nights/week and I find it even less healthy than playing online, When I play online I take breaks – eat right and exercize in my pool alot, playing live I sit in a chair for upwards of 10 hours without much other than mountain dew and at the end of my sessions nothing is open other than denny’s and Jack in the box and since I hate sitting alone I go to Jack in the box – god im sexy!
